I hold a degree in computer science and have over seven years’ experience working in health-data and technology organisations in Australia and the UK.

In my current role as Technical Programme Manager for the Global team at HDR UK, I co-develop sustainable data and governance infrastructures, and support global research teams with technical solutions and capacity building.

I recently gained research experience through a secondment to the University of Bristol Medical School for a project which explored the impact of SARS-COV-2 infection on pregnancy and birth outcomes. This project used routine NHS datasets for research and provided a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in health data science.

I am delighted to have been awarded an MSc Scholarship by Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) funded in partnership with Alzheimer’s Research UK and Diabetes UK. I am excited to be part of the MSc programme at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and look forward to carrying out a research project in the disease area of diabetes.
